Car rental at Shimojishima Airport
Miyakojima's 2nd airport which is planned to open at the end of March, 2019. It was originally built as a training airport for pilots, and was also well known as a photo spot. As it takes around 30 minutes to get to center of Miyako City, it is convenient if you use rental cars after arriving at Shimojishima Airport. Inside the airport, there are reception counters for Toyota Rent-a-Car, Orix Rent-a-Car, and rental cars pick up directly from the airport is planned as well. ※Information as of December, 2018

- LB Rental Car is about 30 minutes by car from Shimojishima Airport, and we offer a free pick-up service at the airport for customers who make a reservation. We will also take you to the airport when you return the car. Please contact us when you arrive at Shimojishima Airport and collect your checked baggage (050-5482-3757). Normally, our staff will monitor your flight and wait at the airport general parking lot when you arrive, and will guide you to the store without making you wait. *Please note that rental and return procedures will be carried out at the store.

- It is about a 7-minute drive from Miyako Airport, and about a 30-minute drive from Miyako Shimojishima Airport. Please note that we cannot specify a time for the free pick-up and drop-off service.
