Pam, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) has formulated and complies with the following personal information protection policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Policy”) in relation to handling of personal information and specific personal information (this refers to personal numbers and personal information that includes a personal number in its content; hereinafter collectively referred to as “Personal Information, etc.”), and it declares that it will handle the Personal Information, etc. of customers and other related parties (hereinafter referred to as “Customers, etc.”) in an even safer and more appropriate manner.
The Personal Information Protection Policy stipulates the basic guidelines for the Company’s Personal Information, etc. and it is intended for all of the Personal Information, etc. obtained and used by the Company.
[1] Compliance with laws and regulations
When handling Personal Information, etc., the Company will comply with the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Act”), other related laws and regulations, guidelines, and the Personal Information Protection Policy.
[2] Definition of personal information
In the Personal Information Protection Policy, personal information is defined as information from Customers, etc. by which a specific individual can be identified, such as name (nickname), address, telephone (fax) number, e-mail address, mobile telephone number, gender, or date of birth, and such information are obtained as stated for acquisition of Personal Information, etc.
[3] Purposes of use of personal information
The Company will use the personal information of Customers, etc. only within the extent that is necessary for the following purposes of use, or for the purposes of use that we clearly indicate or announce in advance in our Terms of Use or that we give notification of or announce promptly after obtaining the information.
・For inquiries about transactions with package tours, accommodation facilities, car rentals, activities, and bus tours operated by the Company and third-party operators
・For selling, shipping, charging fees, and calculating fees for the Company’s products, rights, services, or others
・For responding to inquiries from Customers, etc. and managing the information of Customers, etc.
・For information provision and advertisement distribution for the Company’s services, such as information magazines and e-mail newsletters
・For screening for use of the Company’s services
・For research and analysis of customers’ use of the Company’s services, and for improvement and new development of services
・For requests for email questionnaires, interviews, or others after transactions with the Company
・For other purposes that are individually stipulated for each of the Company’s services
・The Company may change a purpose of use if it is deemed reasonably relevant to the purpose of use before the change
・If a purpose of use is changed, the Company will notify the individual of the changed purpose of use or publicly announce it on the Company's website or through other means

When Customers, etc. use the services below that the Company provides, we will obtain Personal Information, etc. by appropriate and fair means.
Services on a website/app
・Reservations and inquiries for package tours, accommodation facilities, car rentals, activities, bus tours, and others operated by the Company’s affiliated operators
・Product purchases and inquiries
・Member registration
・Reports, comments, and review submissions
・Various questionnaires
・Contacting customers
・Applications and inquiries related to employment
・Marketing statistical research related to the Company’s services
・Other general services provided by the Company
[5] Provision of Personal Information, etc.
Excluding cases that fall under one of the things below, the Company will not disclose or provide customers’ personal information to third parties other than subcontractors, companies conducting joint use, and parties that succeed business.
・When we have obtained the consent of the Customers, etc.
・When disclosure or provision is required based on a law or regulation
・When it is necessary to cooperate with the national government or a local government in execution of public affairs, and obtaining the customer's consent may hinder execution of those affairs
・When it is necessary in order to protect a person's life, body, property, or other important interests, and it is difficult to obtain the customer's consent
[6] Exceptions for provision of information to third parties
The following cases shall not constitute provision to a third party.
・When Customers, etc. reveals personal information to a user company or others by using the functions of the Company’s services or by other means
・When Customers, etc. is inadvertently identified by information entered into the Company’s services
・When personal information is provided by a user and used on an external site linked to the Company’s services
・When information (ID, password, or others) by which an individual member can be identified is obtained by a person other than the Customers, etc.
[7] Handling of personal information in foreign countries
The measures the Company takes when consigning handling of personal information to third-party contractors in foreign countries are as follows.
・When the customer consents
・When the third party's country is stipulated in a law as a country that has a personal information protection system on the same level as that of Japan

[8] Management and protection of Personal Information, etc.
The Company will appropriately manage the personal information of Customers, etc., strive to prevent leaks, loss, and falsification, and provide appropriate in-house education to our officers and employees in relation to handling of personal information, and we will also separately stipulate a certain saving period for all personal information in order to smoothly operate the Company’s services, and then dispose of the information by using sufficient care and an appropriate method after that period passes.
In addition, the Company may consign disclosure or management of personal information, as part of our work, to a subcontractor that we have judged to be a company that fulfills sufficient standards for protection of personal information and with which we have concluded a confidentiality agreement or an agreement concerning handling of personal information, but in such a case, we will supervise that subcontractor to ensure that personal information is handled in accordance with related laws and regulations and the Personal Information Protection Policy.
[9] Disclosure, correction, and others of retained personal data and specific personal information files
If the relevant person or his or her representative requests disclosure, correction, or others (meaning correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, elimination, or suspension of provision to third parties) of retained personal data or a specific personal information file, the Company will handle that request within a reasonable extent and in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.

The purpose, the items that are included in anonymized personal information, and the method of provision of that information in cases in which anonymized personal information created by the Company is provided to a third party are as stated below.
・Purpose: To create statistical information at the Company’s affiliated companies
・Items included in anonymized personal information to be provided to a third party (each of the items of 3, 1, and 2 above)
・Method of provision: Data files are encrypted and provided by means for which security is ensured.

The Company may acquire the location information of the device using the “Tabirai Car Rental Application” provided by the Company. The location information obtained by the Company will be used within the scope that is necessary to provide the functions of the “Tabirai Car Rental Application” for content delivery based on location information (for example, but not limited to, push notifications about area-specific information).
