Car rental at Iwakuni Airport
Originally, Iwakuni Airport was an airport for the Japan Self-Defense Forces and the US military and became an airport for the military and civilians in 2012. Please note that you may not drop off the rental car at the rental car office due to the congestion around the airport, because there is an event called “Iwakuni Air Base Friendship Day” on May 5 every year.
