If you are in an accident,
・Medical relief of injured people
・Report to police( Call 110)
・ Confirm the other party
After doing the above three, please contact the rental car sales office, which you rented from or left.

At TOYOTA Rent a Car , are all vehicles equipped with ETC in-vehicle devices and cards?

All vehicles of TOYOTA Rent a Car booked in Tabirai Car Rental Reservation are equipped with ETC in-vehicle device as standard. Although ETC cards are not standard equipment in TOYOTA Rent a Car, they are rented. You can apply by phone after making a reservation in Tabirai Car Rental, or apply directly on the day of rental.

※ There are a limited number of shops which lend ETC cards, and cards.

Drop-off (One Way)

Drop-off is a service that allows you to return a rental car to another sales office instead of the office you rented from. If you select a return office that is different from the office which you leave from, in the search box of the Tabirai Car Rental Reservation, the available rental car offices which you can drop off at will appear in the search list. Please note that the charge for drop off will vary depending on the rental car company and area.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Non-operation Charge (NOC)

In an accident, most of the expenses incurred will be covered by the insurance, but there are two types of expenses for the user to pay. One is the Collision Damage Waiver and the other is the Non-operation Charge. Tabirai Car Rental Reservation displays a stated price that includes the registration fee for Collision Damage Waiver, but does not include the Non-operation Charge (NOC). However, major car rental companies listed in Tabirai Car Rental Reservation have their own insurance where you do not have to pay for this NOC, and you can join at the car rental office.

Rental Car with Snow Tire

When traveling on snowy or icy roads, it is essential to be equipped with snow tires for safety. In Tabirai Car Rental Reservation, there are a number of cars with snow tires as standard, and as an option. Check the weather forecast on the day of the trip and book a rental car with snow tires in advance if there is a risk of snow.
