Arrival and departure point of Kyushu travel.
Fukuoka Airport is situated about 15 minutes by car from Fukuoka City Center so it is very accessible airport to the City Center. Some rental car offices stand in front of the domestic terminal building, Please be aware of different picking up styles.
As of June, 2018, Fukuoka Domestic Terminal and runways are being renovated. So the content may be different.

The Fukuoka Airport Guide：international line
You need to ask for the pick-up service at the rental car reception desk or by telephone to the office.
Unless you have asked for the service in advance, some offices near Domestic Terminal do not offer it. After going to Domestic Terminal by shuttle bus, you have to walk to the office.
The Guide after arriving at Fukuoka Airport：international line
1. Arrivals of international lines and Arrivals of domestic lines are in different buildings.
2. Go to rental car reception desk over in the Information Counter. If you called directly to a service office, go up to the third floor.
3. After checking in at the reception desk, go up to the third floor by elevator near the entrance in front of Arrivals.
4. Go up to the third floor by elevator near the entrance next to Information Counter.
5. Go straight to Check-in Counter 1 on the northern side of the third floor. Then go outside through the Departure Entrance 1.
6. At the bus stop near the police station, the shuttle buses depart to the rental car offices.
