Insurance Compensation System of Jnet Rent a Car

The rental fee includes basic compensation system.

*Personal injury compensation will be applied if the accident is reported to the police and if a doctor gives right treatment.

When insurance and compensation systems are not applied:

If an accident occurs under the following driving conditions, the customer will be responsible for all damage caused by the accident.

  • If the accident is not reported to both police and our office
  • If the accident is caused by a person other than driver or additional driver written by contract
  • If the accident occurs when the rental period is extended without notice
  • If the customer violates the Rental Agreement
  • Accidents caused by drunk driving or unlicensed driving
  • If a drivers drive under the influence of alcohol or without a driving license,
  • If the damage of the vehicle is caused by theft
  • If you drive with more than the number of passengers allowed
  • If the customer drives in places other than roads, which are operated and maintained, such as seaside, river beds, forests, etc.
  • If you use it for various tests and competitions, or for towing and boosting other vehicles
  • If car damage to a rental car occurs due to an accident with the vehicle, which you own, use, or manage.
  • If a rental car or signboard is damaged in the office
  • If the rental car is out of order after you operate mistakenly
  • If a damage to OR loss of equipment in the car (excluding the damage caused by accident)
  • If scratches occur by tire chains, ski carriers, etc.
  • If wheels and hubcaps are lost
  • If the accident is caused by a malicious traffic violation
  • If the accident occurs when a driver or a passenger does not fasten his or her seat belt
  • If the accident is caused by failure to manage the vehicle
  • If the accident occurs that falls under the disclaimer stipulated in the rental agreement of Jnet Rent a Car

  • 15-day fees will be charged for a rental agreement for the period from 15 days to one month, though compensation covers the rental period.
  • The customized parts such as containers in Aluminum Van is included in the vehicle compensation, but it is not covered in the Collision Damage Waiver system. (The area other than the container part is covered in the Anshin compensation system).
  • The deductible is the amount, which the customer is responsible for paying as part of damage about property damage liability and vehicle insurance.

What is a non-operation charge?

If a vehicle requires repair, the customer, who is attributed to the accident, may be charged a portion of the compensation for the loss of use due to the repair.
※ If you join the Anshin Compensation (Collision Damage Waiver) and Anshin Compensation Wide, you are exempt from paying NOC.
