Scope and limit of compensation

If the customer (the borrower and the driver declared at the time of rental) causes damage to a third party or our company due to an accident, the customer will be liable for compensating for that damage. To cover this liability, all vehicles are equipped with vehicle insurance. However, the deductible amount is the customer's responsibility.

Bodily Injury	Unlimited per person
Property Damage	Unlimited per accident (Customer's deductible amount: \50,000 per accident for domestic cars, \100,000 per accident for imported cars.)
Car Damage	Market value(Customer's deductible amount: \50,000 per accident for domestic cars, \100,000 per accident for imported cars.)
Passenger Compensation	Only while on board, \30,000,000 per person.

Collision damage waiver plan

If you take out, in the event of an accident covered by insurance. the payment of the deductible amount for property damage and vehicle damage (the customer's deductible amount) will be waived.

Although the liability waiver system is optional, we recommend that you purchase it in case of an accident.

Exclusions from the insurance, compensation system, and vehicle/property damage deductible compensation system:

*Please use the rental car in compliance with the rental agreement. You will be responsible for any damage caused by accidents that occur under the following driving conditions or states. In such cases, the aforementioned insurance, compensation system, and vehicle/property damage deductible compensation system (CDW) included in the basic fee will not apply. If we pay the damages you are responsible for, you must immediately reimburse us for that amount.

・If you fail to follow the prescribed procedures, such as contacting the police and our company at the accident scene:

*Regardless of the extent of vehicle damage, whether the accident involves other vehicles, or whether you are at fault or not, please contact the police and our company from the accident scene.

・If you violate the rental agreement:

*Violations include, but are not limited to, breaking traffic laws, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, extending the rental period without permission, driving by anyone other than the borrower or the declared driver at the time of rental, subleasing, driving without a license, reckless driving, using the rental car in a manner contrary to public order and morals, and settling without our consent.

・If the insurance policy or compensation system exclusions apply, or if payment is excluded:

*Damages caused intentionally, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, ancillary costs such as towing fee in the event of total vehicle loss, tire punctures or damage, loss of hubcaps, etc. Additionally, damages to property owned, used, or managed by the customer (borrower or driver).

・If there was negligence in use or management:

*Theft due to parking with the key left in the vehicle, damages caused by parking violations, damage or odor to interior equipment, loss of equipment, damages due to improper handling or installation or chains or carriers, damages from driving on non-road surfaces such as beaches or riverbanks, etc.

Non-operation charge (NOC)

If an accident, theft, breakdown, or contamination occurs that is not our responsibility and vehicle repairs or cleaning are required, we will charge the following amounts as part of the business compensation for that period, regardless of the extent of the damage or the time required for repairs.
*The towing fee for moving the vehicle may also be your responsibility.

*However, even if multiple accidents occur in the same rental/lease, only the first accident will be applied.

[Recommended Safety Plan] Safety Set (SS):

By paying the following Safety Set fee, you will be exempt from paying the deductible (your out-of-pocket amount) for property and vehicle damage covered by the above insurance, as well as the Non-Operation Charge (NOC) mentioned above.

The safety set is optional, but we especially recommend it in case of an accident.

If there are prohibited actions specified in the rental agreement, intentional accidents, or damage (including smoking in no-smoking vehicles), the Non-Operation Charge (NOC) payment will not be waived.
When replacing with new tires, please contact the departure store in advance. As a general rule, replace with tires equivalent to the damaged ones. (If the cost of new tire exceeds the damaged one, it will be at your expense.)
You may be asked to temporarily cover tire repair costs or tire purchase costs. In such cases, presenting the receipt at the store during return will result in a refund.

When an unattended parking violation verification mark is attached and the "parking violation penalty"

(1) Promptly report to the police station with jurisdiction and complete the prescribed procedures.
(2) Complete the payment of the fine at the designated financial institution.
(3) When you return the vehicle, we will check the "Traffic Penalty Notice" and the "Certificate of Payment/Receipt, etc." with the date of receipt.

However, if the illegal parking violation procedure is not completed, you will be required to pay the parking fine "Regular car: 25,000 yen" non-taxable as determined by us.
*In this case, we will refund the full amount of the parking penalty upon payment of the parking penalty after the rental car is returned, and upon presentation of the Traffic Penalty Notice and the payment/receipt form with the receipt stamp at the office of the rental car company.
