Rental car insurance
In case of an accident during use, insurance will be paid within the following compensation amount range.

・Customers will be responsible for any damages that exceed the exemption and insurance coverage amount.
・Insurance will not cover any accident applying to the disclaimer on insurance contract. In addition, if there is no proof of an accident issued by police, insurance money may not be paid.
Cases where the compensation system cannot be applied
However, in following cases, compensation (including exemption) will not be applied and the customer will be responsible for paying all accident damages and compensation.
- When the rental period is extended without permission
- When you do not contact the police and our company in the event of an accident
- When you are under the influence of alcohol or developing symptoms of drugs/stimulants addiction.
- Any other violation to our rental, lease agreement
About Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
- All Tabirai Car Rental plans are priced including disclaimer compensation fees.
If you sign up for this system, you will be exempted from paying for property and vehicle damage (self-payment) in the event of an accident covered by insurance.

[Cases not covered with vehicle compensation] Following cases are not covered by the optional insurance and all damages will be at customers expense, regardless of CDW.
- Tire punctures and bursts
- Tow truck charges in accidents
- Lost or damaged hubcap
- Damage to indoor equipment only
- Damage to your personal belongings
NOC guidance and NOC compensation system
In case of an accident and the vehicle needs to be repaired, you will be charged with the following amount as part of the compensation for loss of use during the repair period.

NOC will be charged even if you have signed up for disclaimer compensation.
If you are involved in an accident and do not know whom it is caused by, it will be treated as a self-inflicted accident and NOC will be applied.
If you are or under 24 years old, or a green license holder you are not eligible for NOC compensation.
