When insurance and compensation do not apply
The following cases are not covered by insurance and compensation payments.
- If the case falls under the reasons for exemption stipulated in the insurance policy or Collision Damage Waiver system
- Damage amount exceeding the limit of insurance/compensation
- Damage that corresponds to the deductible amount when the special agreement is not applied
- If someone drives without notifying in advance
- In the event of a breach of contract
Ex) Unauthorized extension of contract time, drunk driving, lending a vehicle to someone else, etc.
- If you fail to take appropriate action in the event of an accident
Ex) If the police and the lending store are not contacted immediately
- If you settle a case without permission or proceed with a settlement without our prior approval
- In the event of a breach of the rental agreement
Non-operation charge (NOC)
In the event that the vehicle needs to be repaired or cleaned due to an accident, theft, mechanical failure, soiling, odor (including smoking in a non-smoking vehicle), etc., the following amount will be charged as compensation for lost business.
