Insurance compensation system of Alivio Rent-a-Car

Scope and limit of compensation

  • Pricing of all plans in Tabirai Car Rental includes collision damage waiver.

Alivio Rent-A-Car offers a package including a CDW coverage. The coverages listed below are all included in the basic car rental fee and applicable within the stated range. Please note however that if the expense arising out of the accident is within the range of CDW, the expense would need to be paid by the customer.

Bodily Injury Unlimited per Person
including automobile liability insurance (30 million Yen)
Property Damage Unlimited per Accident
Car Damage Up to the Current Market Value of the Vehicle per Accident
Compensation for Personal Injury Up to 30 million yen per person
*Only while in the rental car

*The entire expense arising out of a damage which cannot be covered by the insurance or exceeds the range of coverage would have to be paid by the customer.

Non-operation charge (NOC)

In case the rented vehicle needs to be repaired or cleaned as a result of an accident, theft, impairment and/or defacement, the customer would need to pay for the amount listed below as compensation for the loss of business during the repair/cleaning period.

Driven back to the scheduled shop 20,000 yen
Not driven back to the scheduled shop 50,000 yen+tow truck fee

Customer’s Payment

  • Flat or Blown Out Tire
  • Damaging or Loss of a Wheel/Wheel Cap
  • Chip, crack or other type of damage on the glass caused by a gravel or other loose object
  • Damaging or loss of car accessory and equipment (except that caused due to a car accident)
  • Even when you have a CDW coverage, it is not applicable to non-operation charge.
