Insurance Compensation System of NISSAN Rent a Car
Insurance Coverage
In case of an accident, insurance will be paid within the following limits.
- Person: No Limit (including automobile liability insurance)
- Property: Up to 20 million yen per accident (Deductible cost is 50,000 yen)
- Vehicle: Market Value per accident (Deductible cost is 50,000 yen)
- Personal injury Up to 30 million yen per person ※Compensation will be paid for injuries to passengers (including residual disability) and death caused by an automobile accident, regardless of the degree of the driver's responsibility.(Up to 30 million yen: the amount of damage will be calculated by the insurance company based on the terms of the insurance policy)
- You are responsible for any damages that exceed the deductible amount and the amount of insurance benefits.
- If accidents that fall under exemption of the insurance policy, insurance will not be paid.
- If the traffic accident certificate from the police cannot be obtained, insurance money may not be paid.
For vehicle compensation, compensation will be paid as indicated above. Compensation is not applicable to ow fees. However, in the case of customers subscribing to NAS, Nissan Rent-A-Car will compensate up to a maximum of 100,000 yen (tax included).
Collision Damage Waiver
If you join the Collision Damage Waive system at the time of reservation or contract, except for accidents that are not reported to the police and our company, that insurance is not paid, that violate our rental agreement, or that occur while you extend the rental period without notice, the deductible cost of the property damage liability and vehicle insurance is exempted.
- 15-day fees will be charged for a rental agreement for the 1-month period.

Non-Operation Charge (NOC)
