About Honda Sensing
Honda Sensing is Honda's unique driving safety support system.
There are a variety of functions, including those that allow comfortable driving as well as safety, but we will introduce three typical ones.
●Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) to avoid collisions
The system detects vehicles and pedestrians ahead and, if there is a risk of a collision, it assists in collision avoidance and damage mitigation by braking.
●Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) to maintain an appropriate distance between vehicles
When driving on a highway, the car runs at a constant speed when the speed is set.
When approaching a car in front, the system also automatically decelerates to maintain an appropriate distance.
●Smooth parking and exit from the garage Parking sensor system
When the sensor detects obstacles in the vicinity, it informs the driver of the distance from the obstacle and alerts him or her.
This is useful when parking in reverse or when exiting a narrow parking space.
