Ise Jingu (Grand Shrine) and Isuzu Park are about 17 minutes from Iseshi Station along prefectural road 201 → prefectural road 32. Due to heavy traffic on weekends and during the New Year's holiday, it is recommended to avoid rush hour.

Sakakibara Onsen is a popular hot spring in Tsu City. This hot spring was referred to as "Nanakuri-no-yu" in the Makuranososhi (Pillow Book) of Sei Shonagon. Sakakibara Onsen is about 25 minutes from the station along Iga Kaido road. Inokura Onsen is located at the foot of the Aoyama Plateau. Mado Onsen is surrounded by rich natural beauty. These hot springs are also popular.
Matsusaka Station is a primary station for Matsusaka City, Mie Prefecture. It is famous for Matsusaka beef. The JR Kisei Main Line, the JR Meisho Line and the Kintetsu Yamada Line are available. Ekiben (railway boxed meals) containing Matsusaka beef are very popular. People come to this station to buy the Ekiben for this very reason.
Historical buildings and the Edo period castle town atmosphere still remain in Matsusaka City. This city is very popular for tourism. It is ideal to travel by rental car when you go sightseeing in Matsusaka City. The Gojoban Yashiki, Matsusaka Castle Site and the museum of Motoori Norinaga are about 10 minutes drive from the station along prefectural road 20. There are cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring and you can enjoy hiking in the great scenery of natural beauty at Lake Nameri. Lake Nameri is about 30 minutes from the station along prefectural road 24 → prefectural road 30.
