Noto Airport is also known as the "Noto Satoyama Airport" and is located on the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture. Noto Airport operates regular flights connecting Ishikawa Prefecture and Tokyo. Anamizu Station is the closest train station. The Noto Kuko (Airport) IC is the closest interchange to Noto Airport.
Rental cars are a must-have when you go sightseeing on Noto Peninsula because public transit systems are not substantially developed in this area. It is recommended to book a rental car by day before your visit. There is a car rental service counter located in front of the arrival lobby on the 1st floor.
If you want to see the superb views of Noto, go to the Shiroyone Senmaida which is the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, along prefectural road 1 from Noto Airport → Then, drive about 50 minutes along National Route 249 to Kotogahama Beach → and visit the Yase Cliff - the shooting location for "Zero Focus" (Japanese mystery film).
