    Haneda Airport is a representative airport of Japan's largest metropolitan area. The number of the passengers at this airport is top 4 worldwide. Since there are a variety of restaurants and shops in this airport, even a lot of people who do not have plans to fly visit the airport to enjoy its facilities.

    Haneda Airport has easy access to transportation including the Keikyu Main Line, the Tokyo Monorail and limousine busses in order to start sightseeing smoothly from the airport.
    However, if you travel by rental car, you will be able to enjoy each tourist attraction leisurely at your own pace. You can rent a car at the Rental Car counter in the airport. Rental Car counters are located on the 1st floor of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 buildings. Advance booking is also available via the Haneda Airport Homepage.

    You can go to downtown Tokyo along the Bayshore Route from the Kuko Chuo (Haneda Airport) IC which is the closest interchange to the Haneda Airport.

    Tokyo Station is a primary hub station in Tokyo. In addition to conventional lines, the Tokaido Shinkansen and the Tohoku Shinkansen are available at Tokyo Station. Many tourists from North, South, East and West start sightseeing from Tokyo Station.

    You can find rental car service offices quite easily around Tokyo Station, since they are in various locations including next to the SapiaTower at Nihonbashi guchi (exit) and near the Yaesu Chuo guchi (exit).

    The Tokyo Skytree is about 17 minutes from Tokyo Station along the Shuto (Metropolitan) Expressway or about 25 minutes along public roads. Shinjuku is about 19 minutes along the Shuto Expressway Route 4 (Shinjuku Route). Shibuya is about 16 minutes along the Shuto Expressway Route 3 (Shibuya Route). Tokyo Disneyland is about 20 minutes along the Shuto Expressway Route 9 (Fukagawa Route).

    The 2nd most primary hub station in Tokyo

    Shinagawa Station is the second most primary hub station after Tokyo Station. Conventional lines including the Tokaido Line, Yamanote Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, Yokosuka Line and also the Tokaido Shinkansen are available at Shinagawa Station. Since Haneda Airport is easy accessed from this station and there are plenty of hotels around the station, Shinagawa Station is used by many tourists.

    There are car rental service offices in various locations including inside Shinagawa station, the area behind National Route 15 (also known as Dai-Ichi Keihin) which is from the Takanawa Exit, and near the Shinagawa Intercity which is on the right from the Konan Exit.

    The Epson Aqua Park Shinagawa is a popular tourist attraction and is about 2 minutes walk from Shinagawa Station. The Crystal Yacht Club is about 7 minutes by car. You can enjoy the night views of Tokyo Bay while cruising. Haneda Airport is about 20 minutes along the Bayshore Route.
