Shizuoka Airport (Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport) is located in the Cities of Shimada and Makinohara in Shizuoka Prefecture.

Miho no Matsubara is on the Miho Peninsula located in Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka Prefecture. Every year, many people gather here on the morning of New Year's Day to see the sunrise from the mountains of the Izu peninsula. Miho no Matsubara is designated as one of the three greatest Matsubara (the three most scenic pine groves in Japan).
