    Saga Airport is located in the central part of northern Kyushu. This airport is a gateway to Saga Prefecture and provides easy access to major cities including Fukuoka, Kumamoto and Nagasaki. It is also known by the nickname "Ariake Saga Airport".

    There is a car rental service counter on the 1st floor near the arrival lobby in addition to the bus terminals and taxi stands located at the rotary directly connected to the airport. You will pick up a rental car in the parking lot after procedures are completed at the service counter.

    Saga Yamato IC is the closest interchange to Saga Airport. Imari and Karatsu cities are about 1 hour and 20 to 30 minutes via general roads from the airport. Arita town is about 1 hour and 20 minutes via the expressway. A route to the urban district of Saga City is also popular. You can enjoy views of the Ariake Sea and the castle town atmosphere.

    Saga Station is a primary station for Saga City. Limited express trains, the Nagasaki Main Line and the Karatsu Line are available. Most people visiting Saga Prefecture use this station. Since its access to Fukuoka is excellent, it is also used by many of those who need to transfer.

    There is a car rental service office near the parking lot exit located in front of the South Exit of Saga Station. You may rent a car at this location when you go sightseeing. However, please be aware of its business hours if you arrive at the station late at night. It closes at 6pm.

    Popular tourist destinations including Imari City and Arita town are about an hour and the Ureshino Onsen and the Takeo Onsen are about 40 minutes from the station via the expressway. The shortest way to go see Asia's largest competition of hot air balloons "The Saga International Balloon Fiesta" is via the Saga Yamato IC → Saga Bypass → Kase-ohashi.

    This station provides easy access to Hakata and Kumamoto

    Shin-Tosu Station is located between Hakata Station and Kumamoto Station in Saga Prefecture. All trains including limited express trains stop at this station. Since transfers are convenient between Shinkansen and conventional lines, many tourists and businessmen use this station.

    Shin-Tosu Station is an attractive station for tourism because the Tosu junction which is an interchange of major expressways of Kyushu, is located close to the station. It provides easy access to various sights in the Kyushu region including Nagasaki, Fukuoka. It is recommended to use a rental car when you go sightseeing. There is a car rental information desk inside the ORIX Rent-A-Car located 1 minute walk from the west exit of Kyushu-Shinkansen Shin-Tosu Station.

    The Yoshinogari Historical Park is about 30 minutes, the Yufuin Onsen and the Ureshino Onsen are about 1 hour drive from Shin-Tosu Station. You may drive along local streets to enjoy the atmosphere of this region.
